A week with JLR – Party animals, bunny ears & a peek at Christmas gifting!

Here at JLR we thought it could be fun to share a bit more with you lovely lot.. and what better way than to have weekly round up of what we have been up to?

So now as well as been able to follow us on Twitter, Facebook & Instagram you get a little behind the scenes extra.

This week is the run up to Halloween, so of course we’ve been getting super festive in the office.. Animal ears included! As well as us, some well known faces have been loving the idea of animal ear headbands too..

First up – Lauren Conrad& her party animals!

We spotted Lauren Conrad’s amazing ‘Party Animal’ themed outfits on Instagram & had serious outfit envy.. Just look how fantastic they all look! Halloween inspiration at it’s finest.

Lauren has a serious reputation for stunning costumes, I mean just look at last years tooth fairy look, super dreamy, not so scary mind you!

Next the cutest birthday bunny around – Blogger Meg!

Meg was loving our Kylie Bunny Ears in the run up for her 22nd birthday & we have to say, she looked like the cutest little birthday bunny we ever did see! You can catch Meg’s blog post all about feelin’ 22 right here!

Anyone up for a spot of pumpkin carving with Betsy Blue from Only The Young?

Betsy was totally loving our Zoe Star Bunny Ears whilst carving her super cute cat pumpkin, &Betsy wasn’t the only one loving the Zoe Bunny Ears! Here’s a little peek at Diana Vickers rocking them at a spooky Halloween party too!

Okay, moving on.. Christmas is coming!

Halloween Outfits Made Easy

Here at Johnny Loves Rosie we are super excited about Halloween!
So we thought it could be fun to piece together some outfits, most of which you’ll already own something similar so, say hello to a perfect Halloween costume minus the last minute panic..

Meow, oh hello Chelsea Cat Ears.. We thought we would stick to a simple all black outfit with added cat tail for this look.. You could always use an eye liner to add a little black nose and whiskers.

The Zoe Star Print Bunny Ears add a lovely delicate take to any outfit.. Why not add a few gold accessories to match the delicate glittery stars on the ears to?

Fancy something a little more playful? Our Annie Ears are the one for you!
In both black and leopard print you’ll definitely be able to create a great costume from these ears, plus you could add a quirky tail just to finish the look.

A lacey take on Halloween would be our Evie mask.. We think she looks very classy and would be perfect for any occasion. You could add a cute pumpkin to your look just to make it a little more ‘Halloweeny’ if you like?

Autumnal Textures

The autumnal season is here which means a change of accessories, gone are floral crowns and flower garlands and the appearance of burgundy floral’s and beiges and creams have arrived. The floral trend is all about making a statement so here at JLR we have created the Dana Headband.. She is perfect to add a flowery statement to any look whilst still looking sophisticated and classy.

If you prefer a much more dainty approach on autumnal hair accessories, you may be a fan of our India jewel head chain.. The delicate jewel is great for adding just a slight detail to any day or evening look.. wear your hair in a simple middle parting and allow the India jewel to gently rest on your forehead.. then just wait for the compliments to come rolling in (of course..).

As well as accessorising with jewels and florals, we love the idea of mixing different textures to create different takes on the autumnal hair trend..

Whether it be beige and cream colour combinations or delicate diamante stones, we believe there may be something for everyone.

Little Mix – From Geek to Glam at Teen Choice Awards!

Not only did the Little Mix girls win a teen choice award for Best Breakout Artist last week but created a real show stopping performance to! The band showed up to the event as if they had just fell out of their brand new Black Magic music video before a quick outfit change, creating a dramatic from geek to glam look in no time at all.

Here at Johnny Loves Rosie we seriously loved the fun outfit change and thought it could be exciting to add some JLR accessories into the ‘mix’ ..

It makes our Wednesdays run faster knowing that we have the show to look forward to!
